India Gate in Delhi

The India Gate also called All India War Memorial is located in Indian capital Delhi. The India gate was structured and designed by Edwin Lutyens in 1921. India gate situated on the eastern side of Rajpath salutes the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War I. Amar Jawan Jyoti is another monument at India Gate which was dedicated to soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.

India Gate is a 138 foot or 42-meter tall dedicated to more than ten thousands of Indian soldiers who died serving in the British Army in World War I.
