Bada Bagh was built by Maharawal Jait Singh in the early 16th century and completed by his son Lunakaran after his death. Lunakaran build a beautiful garden next to the lake and also a cenataph in beloved memory of this father. Govardhan Stambh and Jait Bandh are the main attraction of Bada Bagh. Govardhan Stambh is built for celebrate the construction of Dam and the tank. Jait Bandh also known as known as Jait Sar is huge structure and is about 1200 feet in long and 350 feet in wide.
