Athirapally falls drops water from a height of 24 metre or 80 feet into the Chalakudy river with 330-feet wide. It is often nicknamed as the Niagara Falls of India and in Tamil the nickname “Punnagai Mannan Falls”. Athirapally water Falls is located exactly in the forest area.
