The waterfall is a famous for picnic spot and trekking. But the waterfall has flash floods after heavy rain in monsoon season which makes it dangerous. The fall goes almost dry in the summer season but the sight is majestic soon after the rainy season. In 2011 three people drowned due to the sudden flow of water caused by flash floods. Since then only limited access to this waterfall is granted.
