The idol of lord Ganesh is also named as Mahotkat and it has 10 trunks and 20 hands. This idol was donated by Gold Smith Family which knows as Khollam family. It is believed that this temple was built-in between 9th and 10th century. Madhavrao Peshwa who was the fourth Peshwa of the Maratha Empire made a room and the idol of lord ganesha keep in it. Renovation of this temple by Sardar Kibe who is from Indore.
