This is the major ghat in Haridwar also popular as Brahmakund. The World famous Ganga aarti have done here around har ki pauri ghat. 2. Gau Ghat
Gau means Cow. Gau ghat is the most important and prestigious ghat in Haridwar after har ki pauri ghat. Gau means Cow. As per the Hinduism cow is the mother and fulfils everyone’s desire and wishes. The ghat is used as to get rid of cow killing sins. Killing cow is similar sin to the sin of killing a great Brahmin. People who kills the cow for their use come here and pray for their sins. 3. Asthi Pravah Ghat
Asthi is the ashes of a dead body and pravah means to immerse. Asthi Pravah Ghat is for the immersing of the ashes in the holy river Ganga to provide piece of their kinfolks. They perform special rituals which were done by the person called pandit and then they immerse the ashes of their loved ones. Asthi pravah ghat is situated in the southern part of the Ganga temple. Visitors can find many pundits over there for special poojas and rituals before the ashes immersing.
4. Subhash Ghat
A name of Subhash Ghat is given after the famous freedom fighter named Subhas Chandra Bose. Subhash ghat is located close to the Har Ki Pauri Ghat. Ganga River is looking excellent from this ghat. A ghat has the statue of Subhas Chandra Bose. The best time is to visit this Subhash ghat is at night because the ghat is sparkle with lights and view of Ganga River looks mesmerizing at night.
5. Vishnu Ghat
Vishnu ghat is named after lord Vishnu who is one of the trinity. The ghat is less visited by the tourist but most visited by vaishnav community. Vishnu ghat is quite famous for having large number of guest houses and hotels. Visitors can find very affordable hotels near the Vishnu ghat and enjoy at the riverbank of Ganga. 6. Kusha Ghat
Kusha ghat is one of the famous ghats of Haridwar. It is just 2 far from Haridwar railway station. Each ghat of Ganga is combined with each other. The kusha ghat is built by a Maratha queen Ahilyabai. The ghat is related to Dattatreya which is a holy personality of Vedic time.

How to reach By Rail: Nearest Railway station is Haridwar. Haridwar is directly connected with all major cities of India. Many various trains are available to reach to Haridwar.
