The Pandoh dam is a dike style dam built on the river Beas in district Mandi of Indian state himachal Pradesh. The motto of the dam is to generate hydroelectric power in the dehar power house. The dam was built by the government of himachal Pradesh and the construction of the Pandoh dam was completed during 1977. The dam is stated on Beas River at 10 km far from manali. This dam is used to produce electricity for two major town Kullu and manali from the height of 76 meters. Pandoh dam is now became a tourist attraction point too due to having amazing location and views around it. The waters of the Beas River change its direction to the southwest through a 38 km long arrangement of passages and channels as being a part of run-of-the-river power scheme.
