The Brindavan Gardens is a heritage garden gifted to Mysore. The large and beautiful Brindavan garden situated in the Mandya District 21 km far from Mysore in Karnataka State in India. The garden is combined with the Krishnarajasagara dam which is built over the Kaveri River. The garden can be called as a nature abode. The idea of building this garden was initiated and completed during 1927 to 1932. He garden is Constructed during 1932 by the Diwan named Sir Mirza Ismail. The garden took five years to be completed. The Brindavan Garden is very important tourist place of Mysore Town and widely visited by up to 2 million domestic and international tourists every year. The garden is becoming the major attractions of Srirangapatna due to its huge size and beautiful greenery.
