Gurdwara Bangla Sahib was first built as a temple by Sardar Bhagel Singh in 1783. There was a very small tank that was constructed in memorial of the king over the well. The Gurudwara has a large golden dome and a symbolic flagpole, which can be seen from a far distance. The Art Gallery located in the basement of the Gurdwara is also very popular with visitors. They evince keen interest in the paintings depicting historical events connected with Sikh history.
